Fly Fishing Trip
to Alaska
Fishing on Kenai Peninsula
7-day trip |
| Day 1 |
- Depart from Sheridan or Casper, Wyoming or Billings, Montana to arrive in Anchorage,
Alaska.
- From Anchorage, you'll take a scenic drive to Copper Landing where
you'll spend your first night at the Princes Hotel with a breathtaking view of the Kenai
River.

| Day 2 |
- Spend the day fly fishing on the Kenai River where you can take a float
trip down the river or horseback ride to the best fishing spots.

| Day 3 |
- You will head for Seward where you can walk on a glacier, take a sled
dog ride or take a tour of Price William Sound. Fishing is great in
all of the small lakes and streams found around Seward. You can catch Halibut and
Salmon in the bay.
- While in Seward, you will spend the night in one of Seward's many B&B's overlooking
the bay.

| Day 4 |
- You will leave Seward and travel to Soldotna where you will find some
of the best Salmon fishing in the world!
- You will enjoy fly fishing in the many small lakes that are just minutes outside of
Soldotna in the Swanson River Area.

| Day 5 |
- After taking a guided drift boat down the Kasilof River where you will
fish for King Salmon, you will head down to Homer where you can take a
charter boat to catch Salmon or Halibut. Be sure and visit Homer's quaint gift
shops. You will overnight at one of Homer's B&B's.

| Day 6 |
- You will leave Homer and head up to Girdwood to spend the night in the
Alaska Prince Hotel where you will take the tram to the top of the mountain where you can
see for miles and enjoy a nice dinner. You can take hang-gliding lessons, hike, or
just walk around the town and enjoy the quaint shops.

| Day 7 |
- Depart for Anchorage and head back to Casper or Sheridan, Wyoming or
Billings, Montana.
